So I just started a new job…I am working in a management/consultant role that requires I travel over two states.  It’s long hours.  It’s a lot of driving.  And it’s going to be a HUGE challenge!  I feel energized and scared at the same time.  As I meet people at the various locations, I realize just how important it is to set expectations from the beginning. It sets the tone. It establishes boundaries. Bless their hearts, they need to understand boundaries. So it’s a good thing…I came across this quote and it’s perfect.  As I continue my journey into the depths of the rural South, this will be my mantra y’all.

treat-me-right
Never accept anything less than you deserve. Remember, you teach people how to treat you.
